Experience the ultimate hands-on tactical training weekend in Las Cruces, designed to sharpen your weapon handling, enhance dynamic shooting skills, and elevate your tactical proficiency. Led by Jonathan Harrison—a former U.S. Army Ranger, CIA Officer, and a Task Force Omega member—this course delivers elite instruction, live-fire drills, and real-world scenarios designed to sharpen your precision, speed, and confidence under pressure. Whether you’re refining fundamentals or mastering advanced drills, our training is built for those who demand nothing less than excellence.

Conditions & Requirements for Attendance

To ensure a safe and effective training environment, all attendees must meet the following conditions and requirements:

1. Prior Weapons Safety Training:

  • All participants MUST have prior experience with firearms safety, including proper handling, manipulation, and operation.

  • This includes proficiency in loading, unloading, and safely managing their weapon system.

2. Age & Legal Eligibility:

  • Attendees must either be 18 years or older.

  • Participants must not be prohibited from owning or handling firearms under federal, state, or local laws.

3. Required Equipment:

  • Attendees must bring both a pistol and a rifle. Failure to do so will result in denial of participation. Functional firearms suitable for the course: 

    • Serviceable pistol, preferably 9mm.  

    • Minimum of 3 pistol magazines

    • Minimum of 1 pistol magazine pouch

    • Serviceable holster

    • AR style rifle chambered in no higher than 5.56mm (PCC is allowable)

    • Minimum of 4 rifle magazines

    • Minimum of 1x rifle magazine holster/pouch

    • Sling – suitable for a variety of shooting positions – tactical style preferred 

  • Proper eye and ear protection.

  • Required ammunition : The MINIMUM suggested amount is 750 rounds of 5.56 and 300–400 rounds of 9mm, but bringing extra is highly recommended to avoid running out. For your convenience, ammunition can be purchased during registration or locally in Las Cruces and El Paso, TX. Limited quantities may be available for purchase the day of the event. 

  • Appropriate outdoor clothing for shooting. No shorts, tank tops, crop tops, flips flops, sweat pants.

4. Physical & Mental Fitness:

  • This training involves physical activity, rapid decision-making, and high-stress scenarios. Participants should be in good physical and mental condition to engage in movement drills, positional shooting, and weapon manipulations safely.

5. Safety & Conduct:

  • Attendees must adhere to all range safety protocols and instructor commands at all times.

  • Failure to follow safety rules may result in immediate removal from the course without a refund.

6. Liability Waiver & Release Form:

  • All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before engaging in any tactical training activities.

  • This waiver acknowledges the inherent risks associated with live-fire training and releases EVA Tactical Training, instructors, and affiliates from liability in case of injury or incident.

  • Participants understand that photos and videos will be taken during training and may be shared on various social media and marketing platforms. If you wish to have your face blurred and/or identity concealed, you must notify us in advance.

7. Registration & Payment:

  • Full payment is required to secure a spot in the course.

  • No walk-ins will be accepted; all participants must be pre-registered.​
